Bio

Gunnar Treff is affiliated with Paracelsus Medical University and represents this partner institution in the LBI-DHP. He is a sports scientist and exercise physiologist with a diverse background. Gunnar has more than a decade of experience in high performance sports and has always been closely associated with cardiology and rehabilitation. After working as an exercise therapist in cardiac rehabilitation, Gunnar completed his PhD and habilitation, providing a comprehensive perspective on high performance training, and became a working group leader at the University of Ulm in the Department of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. In addition to his expertise in supporting various activities of the LBI-DHP, Gunnar plays a crucial role in coordinating research collaborations between the LBI-DHP and Paracelsus Medical University and its affiliated university hospital.
