Franziska Pfannerstill

Bio

Franziska Pfannerstill is a post-doctoral researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital Health and Prevention in Salzburg. After completing her undergraduate and graduate studies in psychology at the Paris Lodron University Salzburg, she earned her PhD in Psychology/Neuroscience from the Royal Holloway University of London.
Franziska’s research interests focus on exploring the potential of digital interventions to promote physical activity, and the subsequent positive impacts on physical and mental health. She is also very interested in cognitive abilities and how they interact with health literacy and physical activity.

At the LBI, Franziska was mainly involved in the aktivplan project, where she was supporting clinical studies to evaluate new digital health interventions like aktivplan.
