What motivates or hinders cardiac patients from engaging in heart-healthy physical activity? What about the circumstances that promote or prevent engagement in heart-healthy physical activity? What role do digital technologies play in all of this? And if they do, which technologies in particular? If they don’t, why not?

These questions were addressed by the EXPEC survey. Questionnaires were sent to 1000 cardiac patients who had completed cardiac rehabilitation over two years ago. In total, 234 people responded and provided their insights into these topics.
