Bio

Katsch Florian is enrolled as a PhD student in the field of ‘Medical Informatics, Biostatistics & Complex Systems’ at the Medical University of Vienna. He completed his master’s degree in medical informatics with a focus on public health informatics. His current work focuses on semantic interoperability for integrating patient-related outcomes data into routine care and research. In addition to health data standards and terminologies, he is particularly interested in the secondary use of health data for observational research and the standardization approaches needed to achieve this.
