The DH-Convener Implementation Launch!
The DH-Convener Implementation Launch!
We’re thrilled to announce our collaborative venture for the DH-Convener! Our DH-Convener project team Rada Hussein, Somayeh Abedian, Prabath Jayatissa, and Florian Katsch.
In partnership with Edenlab | High-load IT solutions and Fitrockr Health Solutions teams, we build an FHIR server for Patient-Generated Health Data (PGHD) and interoperability layer using healthcare interoperability standards like FHIR, openEHR International, and OMOP, and in alignment with FAIR principles and GDPR requirements.
Here’s What We’re Diving Into:
1. Data Storage & Transition: How can we seamlessly link PGHD with Electronic Health Records (EHR)?
2. EHR Integration Readiness: Is the current infrastructure ready to integrate PGHD?
3. Interoperability Standards: Are FHIR, openEHR, and OMOP truly supportive of our wearable data endeavors in gathering and integration?
4. Access to Valid Data: How do we ensure the integrity and validity of the data we collect from wearable tools?
5. Security & Privacy: What steps can we take to safeguard PGHD and ensure patient privacy and GDPR?
6. Ethical Considerations: We’re committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our research.
Our Partners:
– Edenlab: With their expertise in healthcare interoperability, Edenlab will help us implement HL7 FHIR server, ensuring that our collected data is both accessible and actionable across various systems!
– Fitrockr: A leader in health and fitness technology, Fitrockr will enable us to gather real-time PGHD from wearables, giving us invaluable insights into patient health behaviors!
Together, we’re poised to make significant treads in healthcare interoperability and enhance the utilization of PGHD!
